We are searching for the best talent for R&D Software Project Manager.

Purpose:

We are seeking a technically strong R&D Software Project Manager to lead multi-disciplinary development of next-generation medical device products. In this role, you will drive complex software and embedded system programs, ensuring high-quality execution, cross-functional alignment, and successful global delivery.

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing end-to-end development of complex software and embedded-system features, coordinating firmware, drivers, and software engineering teams.
  • Managing project timelines, risks, resources, and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Collaborating closely with hardware, regulatory, quality, validation, and manufacturing teams.
  • Driving improvements to SDLC workflows and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Communicating project status, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Supporting audits, documentation quality, and continuous process improvement.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software, Electrical, Computer, or related engineering field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in medical device new product development, including software development, is required.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional technical projects from concept through delivery.
  • Strong understanding of embedded systems and software development methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with SDLC frameworks (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools such as Jira or Confluence.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • PMP, Scrum Master, or similar certification is a plus.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$109,000.00 - $174,800.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
• The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
• Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
• Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
• This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.
• Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
oVacation -120 hours per calendar year
oSick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington -56 hours per calendar year
oHoliday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year
oWork, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
oParental Leave - 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
oCondolence Leave - 30 days for an immediate family member: 5 days for an extended family member
oCaregiver Leave - 10 days
oVolunteer Leave - 4 days
oMilitary Spouse Time-Off - 80 hours
