Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician supports the 12 hour rotating shift activities which includes production equipment calls and repairs, support of engineering, and projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Able to work rotating shift 12 hours
  • 10+ years in manufacture maintenance environment
  • Works well with others in a team environment
  • Must be able to follow company safety rules and regulations to include LOTO etc.
  • Driving a forklift
  • Ability to pull work order tickets for preventative and breakdown maintenance from SAP
  • Good electrical knowledge which includes PLC's and drives
  • Have high mechanical skills from changing out rollers with bearings to troubleshooting various issues with equipment
  • Understands the proper use of tools and how to apply technical knowledge to finish the work professionally
  • Grinding rollers using a lathe with a grinding attachment
  • Understand boilers, compressors and chillers
  • Work with CPVC pipes and fittings, polypro, as well as conduit and steel piping
  • Changing out pumps, motors, valves
  • Be able to fabricate and work with metal using welding and plasma equipment
  • Capable MIG, TIG and rod welding

Experience Level: 10 years, high school diploma or GED, secondary technical schooling is preferred.
