Work with nuclear sensors, nuclear spectroscopy, and analysis of nuclear/radiological data
Manage creating or restructuring large databases, and warehouses and optimization of communication between sensor database and AI/ML and analytics software
Use machine learning methods (neural network or decision tree)
Transfer CWMD AI/ML codes to ARDIS-C client domain, find bugs, rewrite parts of code and carry on studies leading to proposal of operational thresholds for detection of nuclear devices
Continuously upgrade their knowledge in the pertinent subfield of sensor physics, data science and AI/ML
Work together with CWMD contractors to secure a smooth transition of CWMD products to be deployed, operated and maintained in the CBP environment
Qualifications:
Level II: BS or MSc degree, having three to five years of work experience after college. Able to work without close supervision, having demonstrated ability to maintain complex software and work with large databases
Understand nuclear sensors, nuclear spectroscopy, and analysis of nuclear/radiological data
From physics, physical sciences, and nuclear engineering with 5 years of practice in the creation or restructuring of large databases, warehouses and optimization of communication between sensor databases and AI/ML and analytics software
Must have hands-on/demonstrated experience in machine learning methods (neural network or decision tree)
Required level of personal experience is such that he/she will be able to transfer CWMD AI/ML codes to the ARDIS-C client domain, find bugs, rewrite parts of code and carry on studies leading to the proposal of operational thresholds for detection of nuclear devices
Skill to analyze the current system (process/data) and composing the necessary documentation
Capacity to create a "client domain" in the ARDIS-C environment to carry on testing and improvements
Learn their tasks quickly and shall be well-informed in recent developments and trends in their field of expertise (in particular IT, security, nuclear technology and radiological/nuclear threats)
Knowledge of the DAC-TER database as well as the ARDIS system and be current on all newly developed systems and methodologies
All personnel must remain current on CBP required training and obey regulations reinforced by these trainings
Experience/knowledge using Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, Dimensions, .Net, MS SQL, and MS Visual Studio
