Computed Tomography Sales Specialist

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Computed Tomography Sales Specialist plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth and market share for Bayer's computed tomography (CT) and cardiovascular (CV) portfolio. You will work with injectors, contrast media, and related software solutions to generate demand and cultivate strong customer relationships. This role requires developing connections with radiology stakeholders, imaging managers, procurement leaders, and IT and biomeds, effectively navigating health system decision-making processes and engaging key players in the Radiology ecosystem.

Covering the Atlanta, GA Metro area, including Valdosta, Warner Robins, Birmingham, and Montgomery, the successful candidate will ideally be based in Atlanta, GA, bring expertise to foster relationships, promote Bayer's products, and produce meaningful sales results.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Meet and exceed sales and revenue targets for the Computed Tomography portfolio in designated accounts.
  • Forge strong relationships with radiology leaders and decision-makers to enhance Bayer's presence and promote products effectively.
  • Navigate complex buying processes and develop a territory business plan to identify key opportunities and set clear goals.
  • Collaborate proactively with account managers and cross-functional teams to integrate CT solutions into accounts strategically.
  • Support the proposal process by generating quotes and ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
  • Utilize enterprise value selling tools to understand client needs and drive value in the sales process.
  • Ensure effective CRM practices by maintaining accurate data and insights to inform strategy.
  • Deliver value-focused presentations that underscore the clinical and operational advantages of Bayer's CT products.
  • Stay informed on market trends and customer needs to adapt strategies proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with Bayer policies and regulations while managing resources and expenses appropriately.

WHO YOU ARE

Bayer seeks a candidate who is:

  • Passionate about advancing the U.S. Radiology landscape and improving patient outcomes.
  • Holds a Bachelor's or advance degree in business, life sciences, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a complex healthcare environment.
  • Knowledgeable in CT technology, clinical applications, and radiology economics.
  • Capable of navigating a cross-functional environment effectively.
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • A self-starter with good time management and organizational skills.
  • Adept in CRM tools such as Salesforce for managing customer relationships.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Familiarity with Bayer's medical devices and services.
  • More than 5 years of relevant healthcare sales experience focusing on radiology and imaging.
  • Experience with AI tools relevant to the sales process.

Employees can expect a competitive salary range from $95,680 to $143,520, with opportunities for bonuses and additional benefits such as healthcare, vision, dental, retirement plans, PTO, and sick leave.
