About the Role
The Research Analyst III will support marketing-focused research efforts for RL hardware products, including VR and Wearables. This role is ideal for someone who can translate complex quantitative insights into clear, actionable recommendations, thrive in ambiguity, and build strong cross-functional partnerships across marketing, retail, and international teams.
Responsibilities
Manage quantitative audience databases, including survey design, data cleanliness, data quality, and reporting.
Support ad hoc data requests, pulling and validating data, ensuring accuracy, and writing narratives to inform business decisions.
Translate research findings into actionable insights and recommendations that influence marketing strategy and execution.
Effectively manage time and priorities across competing requests to focus on the highest-impact work.
Position learnings within the larger business context to inform audience strategy and product/brand outcomes.
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, retail, and international partners to deliver research insights.
Must-Have Qualifications
6+ years of experience in quantitative research, including hands-on experience with survey design, data cleaning, weighting, regression, and analysis.
Direct experience working with large datasets, integrating 1st- and 3rd-party data.
Proven ability to independently execute ad hoc research requests from problem definition through insight delivery.
Strong track record of managing datasets and ensuring data hygiene, integrity, and reporting accuracy.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver concise, executive-level insights.
Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills in fast-paced environments.
Experience collaborating proactively with diverse cross-functional stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Experience conducting research for hardware or physical products.
Background in retail, shopper insights, or category management.
Ability to manage challenging stakeholders and craft effective research questions.

Education
Degree in Sociology, Human Studies, or a related field is helpful
