The Client: Is a world-leading industrial gases company in operation for over 80 years focused on serving energy, environmental, and emerging markets.

Position Type: Hybrid (On-site/Remote)
Hours: M-F 5/8s during planning phase, 7/12s during TA execution (30 - 45 days)
REQUIRED PPE: Hard Hat, Safety Glasses, Steel Toe Boots, FRC Clothing

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Travel required up to 25-35% of the year depending on TAR occurrences and assignments.
  • Ability to take trips during the Planning Phase to gather information necessary to properly plan work scope defined.
  • Required to be on-site for the duration of the Outage Execution timeframe to coordinate contractors executing planned work scopes, and to ensure Safe Work Practices and QAQC processes are being followed. Timeframes vary but an average outage duration is 30-45 days.
  • Pre/Post Temporary Power is required at all outages; you will be required to be onsite to coordinate this effort and ensure Safe Work Practices and QAQC processes are being followed. Typically starts 4 weeks prior to Execution and lasts 2 weeks after execution is complete.
WORKING HOURS:
  • All hours outside of the Outage Execution time frame will be worked on a Monday - Friday 5-8's schedule. Special occasions 4-10's may be worked to align with on-site Contractor Coordination efforts but will need prior approval.
  • During the Outage Execution time frame, you will work a Monday - Sunday 7-12's schedule.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal and planning skills. Strong leadership abilities.
  • Understands electrical and instrumentation construction and workflow processes.
  • Some bending, climbing, crawling, lifting and shift work will be required.
  • Ability to accurately perform other duties as assigned.
  • Understands quality standards as outlined QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to read and interpret Electrical & Instrumentation drawings and PID's.
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing test / work packages for issuance to the field.
  • 7+ years' experience in Electrical & Instrumentation package planning.
  • Proficient in the use of computers and business software, including Microsoft (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook) SAP, Primavera P6, Adobe.
  • 7+ years of E&I journey-level maintenance experience and/or E&I maintenance planning.
  • 7+ years' experience in maintenance and/or engineering disciplines, preferably with experience in industrial outages, LV & HV Motors, heaters, power distribution equipment, and general preventative maintenance on various electrical components. Working knowledge of process instrumentation including Flow, Level, Pressure, and Temperature devices.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead assigned portion of outage scope through planning and execution stage.
  • Organizing materials through expediting, quoting prices, and ensuring the correct parts are available for jobs
  • Develop scope for assigned work orders within the outage, identifying secondary and/or support disciplines required.
  • Create detailed planning activities in Cleopatra for each work order utilizing planning templates as applicable. Activities include individual tasks, Client, durations, and assigned discipline.
  • Provide daily schedule updates during outage execution.
  • Create job planning packages for each work order per guidelines for both internal and external distribution, e.g. bid events, contractor field personnel, etc. Packages may include pictures, P&IDs, BOMs, tools, safe work procedures, applicable standards, QC requirements, etc.
  • Provide leadership in risk management, contractor safety, and mitigating safety issues in operations.
  • Support Management of Change processes, recognizing plant changes and following through on all documentation and recommendations in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining communication with craftspeople, contractor representatives, and materials suppliers.
  • Uphold and communicate high standards of housekeeping in assigned areas and on all job sites. Conduct frequent formal housekeeping inspections of plant areas.
  • Complete close out and documentation as required
PERFORMANCE STANDARD:
  • Willing to work a wide variety of scheduled days and hours, following strict fatigue management guidelines. Travel may be required as much as 25-35% depending on projects.
  • Ability to work without close supervision.

  • Able to achieve various State mandated/Federal certifications. OSHA and TWIC are required.
