Job Details

PRIMARY FUNCTION: The job of Custodian is done for the purpose of maintaining an attractive, sanitary, safe facility for students, staff, and the public, and minimizing property damage, loss, and liability exposure to the school district.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Educational Level:

a. High School Diploma/ GED preferred

b. Must satisfy all federal and state hiring requirements appropriate to position, (background check)

2. Experience :

a. Previous experience in custodial or related work preferred, but not required

3. Physical Activities:
a. Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities

4. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

a. Knowledge of methods and materials essential to good sanitation practices and general school housekeeping
b. Skills in the use and care of all equipment used in school housekeeping

c. Ability to follow written and oral communication
