Job Details

This position will be housed at the Columbus Health Department and is Not a Remote position. You will support the Department by utilizing your expertise to fulfill the following responsibilities:Assist in the clinic by taking and recording patients vital signs, height, and weight, collection of blood and/or other laboratory specimens, Maintain daily laboratory log, place and read TST skin tests, and prepare specimens for shipping to the laboratory. Pull patient lab results daily and prepares them for the nurse to review. Perform finger sticks for Rapid HIV and Syphilis testing. Prepare the exam room for patients. Perform front office duties to include, but not limited to, patient intake, verifying insurance, collecting/posting payments, answering phone calls, and scheduling appointments.
