Description:

Reviews exception reports and potential fraudulent accounts for the prevention and detection of possible fraud. This is critical to our ability to continue the management and to maintain priorities based on risk assessments and goals set by upper management as it relates to fraud investigations and reporting. Experience is gained through training and experience, following established procedures, guidelines and research utilizing multiple systems and tools. Responsible for moderately complex research and analysis of account activity to assess levels of risk and fraud type. Takes appropriate corrective action through law enforcement/merchant phone contact to verify legitimate usage. Provides review and analysis of risky or exception conditions. Is responsible for developing and maintaining strategies to detect fraud internal & external (in the field supporting current events/investigations).
