As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a cultural institution, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help maintain a secure environment for visitors and staff. You will remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for irregularities.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and exhibit areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences encountered during patrols.
• Work collaboratively with staff and the public to uphold a welcoming and secure environment within the cultural institution.
• Remain alert and attentive to the unique needs and challenges of a cultural institution environment while performing assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
