What You Will Do

• Provide operational engineering support to develop technologies and processes which support growth and cost?reduction targets; develop best practices and engineering standard work for vendor assistance and manufacturing engineering.
• Leverage manufacturing innovations to improve cost, delivery, and quality; assist with problem solving during manufacturing?related investigations.
• Drive root?cause and corrective action activities for procedural non?compliances within manufacturing engineering.
• Develop relationships with vendors to drive continuous improvement opportunities.
• Support operational excellence using statistical analysis for process control and certification.
• Lead the CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence) journey to continuously improve quality and exceed customer expectations; drive partnership with Product Engineering and Quality Engineering teams through continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate commitment to the EH&S program by complying with all policies and procedures.
• Monitor non?conformances and assess part performance relative to standard times, optimizing, automating, and trimming waste.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelors degree and 8+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, quality or related industrial environment, or a Masters degree and 5+ years of experience in similar fields.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Statistical Process Control (DMAIC, Process Certification, UPPAP, Six Sigma) required.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Degree in a STEM field.
• Experience with Kaizen events or continuous improvement programs such as CORE, 6S.
• Experience working with CAD tools and creating engineering drawings.
• SAP experience.
• Project management experience.

Salary range for this role is $101,000 $203,000 USD. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, 401(k) match, flexible spend accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, parental leave, paid time off, holidays, and incentive compensation depending on level and collective bargaining agreements.
