The Patient Services Representative II provides high-quality patient support by collecting and preparing blood specimens for testing while ensuring accuracy, safety, and excellent customer experience.
This role involves direct interaction with patients, maintaining a professional environment, and following established procedures.
The representative may work in a doctor s office, patient service center, or other assigned location.
Requirement/Must Have:

Skilled in forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing.
Ability to verify patient demographic information and post-venipuncture verification.
Ability to maintain required records and documentation.
Strong organizational commitment and professionalism.
Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
Ability to make decisions based on established procedures and good judgment.
Reliable transportation and valid driver s license, if applicable.
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours across multiple locations.
Ability to handle multiple priorities in high-volume settings.
Strong customer focus and effective communication skills.
Experience:
1 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
2 years of experience in a patient service center environment preferred.
Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
Keyboard and data entry experience.
Responsibilities:
