This position is responsible for representing clients in all areas of insurance defense practice, handling cases that are primarily low in complexity and exposure. The attorney manages all phases of cases from intake to resolution.
Typical work environment includes climate‑controlled indoor space. Employee may sit or stand for prolonged periods, use fine‑motor skills for typing, and occasionally lift or move objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Travel between office locations and field sites may be required.
Bachelor's degree preferred. Licensed to practice law in applicable states is required upon hire.
Civil litigation and/or personal/body injury experience preferred.
Public speaking, ability to function in adversarial or confrontational situations, and driving.
Strong verbal communication and listening skills. Excellent written communication skills. Effective negotiation skills. Ability to represent the company with external constituents. Demonstrates excellent judgment and decision‑making skills. Demonstrated time‑management and priority‑setting skills. Possesses strong technical aptitude.
