Compass Point is looking for a Systems Analyst to join our team supporting USSOCOM at our Fort Benning, GA location. In this role, you will be part of an enterprise IT Service Management (ITSM) process for USSOCOM locations across several networks and mission‑critical applications. Candidates must possess an active DoD Secret clearance and DoD 8570 certifications along with a combination of education and demonstrated experience/training on networks and applications specific to the SIE / USSOCOM enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead major technology assignments.
• Evaluate performance results and recommend major changes affecting short‑term project growth and success.
• Act as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
• Supervise others and interface directly with end‑users to provide hardware, software, network, and application problem resolution.
• Analyze and solve computer problems, ensuring technology meets program needs.
• Implement system studies to maximize benefits from equipment, personnel, and business processes.
• Prepare workflow charts and diagrams to specify operations to be performed by equipment and computer programs.
• Perform work under direct supervision while handling basic issues and referring more complex issues to higher‑level staff.
• Research, diagnose, document, and resolve technical issues surrounding Windows 10/8/7, MS Office, email, special applications, Internet connections, and hardware/peripheral equipment.
• Determine the best team to resolve a problem and assign tasks to Desktop Support, Customer Support, Network Administration, or System Administration Teams when a solution cannot be provided telephonically.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot server, network, system, and application issues.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot all associated and follow‑on operating systems.
• Use tools such as Dameware, RDP, and Terminal Services.

Qualifications

• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (maintain via continuing education or re‑certification).
• Current Top‑Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (relevant experience may substitute for education).
• 3–5 years of related experience.
