What You Will Do

  • Ensure the safety of employees by driving a Safety‑first culture; enable the Inspection Team by providing Training and Development.
  • Lead a team empowered to make decisions that meet Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost objectives.
  • Identify opportunities for documentation of Quality Requirements to establish and implement improvements.
  • Investigate new and improved methods of Inspection that can improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Provide transparency in Quality Operations Performance and plans to address gaps in meeting business objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering Teams in addressing Quality concerns and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Act as a key stakeholder in vendor operations by ensuring effective communication and coordination between internal teams and external partners.
  • Oversee timely deliveries while actively participating in Value Stream planning to optimize processes and enhance efficiency.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with 10 years of experience in operations leadership in a manufacturing or related industrial environment; OR Master's Degree with 7 years of experience in operations leadership in a manufacturing or related industrial environment.
  • Understanding of/experience using CORE/LEAN/continuous improvement principles to implement process improvements.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience with SAP and Solumina.
  • Leadership Operating Model knowledge and performance.
  • Inspection and/or Quality Engineering experience.
  • Understanding of calibration requirements.

Additional Information

In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. This role is onsite. Employees in onsite roles work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. Candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on‑site, hybrid or remote.

The salary range for this role is $124,000 – $250,000 USD.

Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, parental leave, paid time off and holidays. Specific benefits depend on the business unit and whether the position is covered by a collective‑bargaining agreement. Annual incentive compensation programs may apply for eligible positions.

This role is U.S.-based. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
