Overview

As an EMC & RF Staff Engineer, you'll be a technical leader responsible for ensuring that our electronic systems meet electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and radio frequency (RF) performance requirements. You'll work cross-functionally with design, test, and compliance teams to drive product development from concept through certification.

Base pay range

$130,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• Lead EMC and RF design and analysis activities for complex electronic systems.
• Develop test plans and procedures to demonstrate compliance with FCC, CE, MIL-STD-461, and other global EMC standards.
• Provide hands-on support for testing, troubleshooting, and mitigation of EMC/RF issues.
• Collaborate with hardware, PCB, and systems engineers to ensure robust designs.
• Interface with external test laboratories and regulatory agencies as required.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements and best practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in EMC and RF engineering, ideally in aerospace, defense, or high-reliability electronics.
• Strong working knowledge of EMC standards (FCC Part 15, CISPR, DO-160, MIL-STD-461, etc.).
• Proficiency with EMC/RF test equipment (spectrum analyzers, LISNs, TEM cells, GTEMs, etc.).
• Experience in EMI/EMC simulation tools (e.g., CST, HFSS, SPICE).
