What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

• Maintain existing backend microservices processes deployed primarily through AWS Lambda and Fargate
• Collaborate with the architecture team to design and build new microservices processes in support of strategic initiatives
• Maintain existing or build new web-based customer-facing UI features
• Interface with primary internal stakeholders and business owners to improve product awareness and expand feature sets
• Assume ownership role and mastery of applicable business and technical areas while sharing knowledge with team members

What is Required (Qualifications):

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of Python and Linux operating system experience
• 10+ years of professional software development experience in an Agile environment using Git
• 5+ years of software development and deployment experience in an AWS environment
• 5+ years developing software that runs on container services such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Fargate
• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contract

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• Experience with AWS serverless technologies such as Lambda, API Gateway, and IAM policies
• Strong understanding of JavaScript language principles and application to web development
• Familiarity with event logging and correlation tools such as Loggly, Splunk, or Datadog
• Experience with single-page application development and client-side graphing libraries
• Understanding of cloud security concepts and identity and access management principles
