About The Position
Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Physical Therapist Specialty: Outpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10hr Day Shift - 40 hours Monday through Thursday Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Prefer 1 year of relevant experience License: Licensed in the state of Georgia Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Experience with general orthopedics, debility, stroke/CVA, neurological disorders, multi-trauma, fractures Description: This is an outpatient therapy clinic specializing in occupational, physical, and speech therapy. The average patient census is 10-15 patients per day. This clinic schedules 30-minute intervals and dovetails patients. Complex evaluations will be 1 hour, while simple evaluations and treatments will be 30 minutes. The clinic has 5 therapists, 1 Lead Therapist, 1 Office Coordinator, and 2 Rehab Aides on-site. The clinic utilizes EMR technology. Department-specific equipment is available. There is no floating required within the department. There are no weekend rotations, and no on-call duties. There are no holiday expectations. Requests for time off can be accommodated if the traveler extends the contract. The preferred dress code includes provided polos in teal and black, along with slacks and clean shoes. The department culture is collaborative and supportive.
