What You'll Do:

  • Provide therapeutic services primarily in school settings to address emotional, behavioral, and mental health issues.
  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to tailor interventions for individuals.
  • Create personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families, and the treatment team.
  • Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based practices.
  • Engage with educational staff to support students and assist in developing treatment goals.
  • Document all interactions and treatment plans accurately and in compliance with regulations.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure holistic care and effective treatment strategies.
  • Provide immediate support during crisis situations and develop safety plans as needed.
  • Promote mental health awareness through outreach to schools and the community.
  • Connect individuals and families to additional support resources as required.
  • Stay updated with best practices in therapy through continuous training and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience working with children and families, including educational internships.
  • Eligibility for licensure in Georgia as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW is essential.
