Description:

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, hard-working, and experienced leader to join our team as the Center Director.

Some of the responsibilities for this role include the following:

  • Providing supervision and care to our staff and children.
  • Hire and train high-quality teachers and staff.
  • Follow all state childcare licensing regulations.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, staff, regulatory agencies, and community members.
  • Ensure our Growing Up On Our Block Curriculum and all branding are being utilized.
  • Responsible for managing site in all areas of staffing, enrollment, and the physical facility.
  • Provide superior customer service.
  • Maximize enrollment.
  • Meet with staff and parents to communicate goals and provide feedback.
  • Create a fun, exciting, and loving environment for children to thrive in.
  • Responsible for meeting all licensing, training, and safety requirements.

Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday
Candidates must be comfortable working in and leading a faith-based environment.

Education & Experience:
  • Ideal candidates will have a minimum of a 4-year degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field and 2+ years of experience supervising staff in a quality early childcare environment or related field.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Excellent knowledge of early childhood child development
  • Other skills or abilities required to perform this job successfully include: organization and problem-solving abilities, time management skills, a teamwork mindset, and computer proficiency (specifically in Microsoft Office).
  • Must pass all background checks and meet all state requirements
  • CPR & First Aid Certified
