Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist

Position Overview:
Southern Rewinding is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in invoicing, cash handling, and account reconciliation, along with excellent organizational and communication skills. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial records, timely payments, and effective customer account management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, issue, and track customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Monitor customer accounts to ensure payments are received according to terms.
  • Record and reconcile daily cash receipts, including petty cash management.
  • Maintain accurate financial records of receivables and resolve discrepancies as needed.
  • Communicate with customers regarding billing inquiries, payment status, and outstanding balances.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes related to receivables.
  • Generate reports on accounts receivable status and aging for management review.
  • Support internal financial audits and compliance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing or payment issues.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred (equivalent work experience will be considered).
  • Previous experience in accounts receivable, invoicing, or bookkeeping required.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with accounting software preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
