THE COMPANY:

C-19 may have thrown a curve ball that pretty much decimated the Aviation industry across the global stage, however, this wont be the case indefinitely and our client is fully aware of this and believes the market will return even stronger throughout the course of 2021/22.

With this in mind, Hamilton Mayer International is currently leading the search for a Senior Aviation Executive on behalf of a top 20 ENR rated construction firm in the US. This organisation is renowned for building integrity and a passion for working alongside their clients in a collaborative manner.

We are seeking a prestigious executive with presence and outstanding client relationships

THE ROLE:

• Leading key delivery methods both from managing pursuits to ultimately executing projects on behalf of clients/owners valuing between $300m to $1bn within the Aviation sector.
• Will be familiar with hard-bid and design-build proposals, ideally been involved in the bidding process and then taken charge delivering the work on behalf of the client.
• Will be a collaborative leader who can think outside the box in terms of adopting a more modern style of working with clients instead of typical Hard-Bid work.
• Full turn-key construction of large airport terminals valuing $300m + will be highly desirable.
• Consistent leadership and management, which is externally aligned with the overall long and short term strategic vision.
• Responsible for overseeing master programs with a proven track record managing up to 1,000 construction personnel via a typical matrix management system.
• Work with the Pre-Construction team to review permits, plans, specifications and schedule with the ability to manage multiple project simultaneously.
• Overseeing and making decisions related to the performance of work related to scheduling, delivery, logistics and quality control.
• Responsible for optimising maximum construction programs, looking at all parameters to ensure overall project efficiency.
• Ensure site safety programme is followed, and ensure subcontractors are also compliant.

THE PERSON:

• Will be operating at an executive level for a number of years, preferably in the Aviation Sector.
• A gifted leader, and a known name in the industry.
• Can demonstrate a clear career trajectory delivering multi-million-dollar Aviation projects in a collaborative manner across the US and overseas.
• Proven ability to lead a team of design and construction professionals within the Aviation sector.
• Excellent written, oral communication and management skills.
