Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with project estimators to review estimates, analyze the scope of each project, and determine material needs.
  
  
  
  • Analyze project specifications from consulting/engineering firms
  
  
  • Review estimates in Google Sheets and ask questions to the project estimator as needed
  
  
  • Review aerial images of the roof to identify potential problems that may arise during the scope of the project
  
  
  
  


• Plan projects in advance to ensure all aspects are allocated and scheduled accordingly.
  
  
  
  • Budget for material and labor
  
  
  • Plan material ordering
  
  
  • Schedule and timelines
  
  
  • Safety plan
  
  
  • Draft contracts for subcontractors and vendors
  
  
  
  


• Manage crews and subcontractors.
  
  
  
  • Ensure quality work is being implemented according to company/industry standards
  
  
  • Ensure the written specifications are being implemented
  
  
  • Manage issues/problems that may arise during the project
  
  
  • Constantly verify that safety guidelines are being met according to OSHA and company compliance standards
  
  
  
  


• Prepare and deliver various reports detailing the progress of each project to the company and customer.


• Communicate with staff, supervisors, and other parties about current projects.
  
  
  
  • Discuss budgets and current financial status of the project
  
  
  • Plan and set goals
  
  
  
  


• Negotiate contracts when unexpected changes occur and renegotiate contracts with contractors and subcontractors.

Education and Experience Requirements

• 5+ years of work experience in the commercial roofing industry


• Familiar with details and requirements for PVC, TPO, modified bitumen, and asphalt shingles roof systems


• Bi?lingual is a plus

Position type: Full?time. Hours: Must be flexible.

Travel is expected for this position.
