Description:

SOFTSWISS is hiring L3 Support Engineer to join our IT Support Department.
We need a true, experienced, and accomplished professional who shares our culture and values.

Purpose of the role:

You will be able to work with cutting-edge technologies in servers, networks, and cloud platforms, building robust and scalable solutions for our global business needs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and development of hybrid server infrastructure.
  • Maintenance of active network equipment (including cloud-based communication channels), office network development.
  • Diagnostics and solution of hardware and software problems of office infrastructure, including cloud-based.
  • RnD and implementation of new services.
  • Maintenance of technical documentation in the Knowledge Base.
  • Creation, configuration and implementation of different kind of automations.

Also, you will be able:

  • Participation in accounting and inventory of equipment (in terms of infrastructure).
  • Diagnosis and solution of hardware and software problems of company employees.

Required Experience:

  • At least 3 years of experience at companies with 100+ employees and distributed officespartially or fully remote , of which at least 2 years with specialised systems (Windows Server, Linux server, VMware, etc.).
  • Expert knowledge of modern operating systems MS Windows Server. Understanding the security principles of MS Windows operating systems.
  • Expert knowledge of MS Active Directory (backup and recovery, FSMO replication in details, group policies, collisions and debug).
  • Practical experience in implementation and industrial virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, and/or equivalents). P2VV2V migration, clustering.
  • Network experience at least at level Mikrotik MTCRECisco CCNP:
    • Firewall deep understanding (chains, mangle)
    • VPN technology (Site-to-Site solutions, wireguard, L2 VPN)
    • WiFi solutions (Ubiquiti, UNMS)
  • Experience withCloud Services (AzureGoogleHetzner).
  • SSO Experience (Entra IDGWOKTA, OIDCSAMLSCIM).
  • Scripting languages (pythonpowershellash) daily routine automation, work with API of different services.
  • Docker management and understanding containerisation.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Gitlab CI, Github Actions, etc). Understanding how to work with GIT.
  • English B1+ (be able to participate in meetings with vendors tech support and salepresale managers).
  • Russian B2+.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in on-premise-cloud and vice versa migration.
  • Experience with MDM systems (Intune, Kandji, ABM, etc.)
  • Experience with Windows 365 and macOS
  • Experience with Jira/Confluence would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code practices and tools (e.g., Ansible, Kubernetes)
