Job Details

This position is responsible for supervising facilities maintenance and carpentry activities. Supervises and participates in the installation, maintenance, repair, and operation of all equipment including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, kitchen, telephones, and data lines. Supervises workers and inmates. Trains new employees and inmates. Performs evaluations of subordinates and inmates. Performs inventory control. Estimates time and material for work requests. Coordinates special events and projects. Works on special events and sporting events. Assists with HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical procedures as needed. Performs maintenance and repair of all city property. Performs preventive maintenance on city property. Assists other departments with maintenance work. Maintains and expands job knowledge, skills, and abilities. Performs other related duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of OSHA Safety Rules.
