Electrical Engineer 4

This Electrical Engineer position is with Kysor-Warren Epta, part of the global Epta Group, located in Columbus, Georgia. As a key member of the Engineering team, you will play a vital role in supporting innovative commercial refrigeration solutions through expert electrical design and development. Your contribution:

• Design and develop electrical systems and components for commercial refrigeration units.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
• Create detailed technical documentation including wiring diagrams, schematics, and specifications.
• Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems to ensure compliance with internal standards and industry regulations.
• Provide technical support for production activities, troubleshooting, and resolving electrical issues.
• Assist in the selection of electrical components and vendors to ensure quality and cost-efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing system performance and reducing production costs.
• Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.

Your journey:

You excel at problem-solving, technical innovation, and working collaboratively in fast-paced engineering environments. Additionally, you have the following:

• A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• 10-15 years of relevant experience in electrical design or engineering.
• Strong technical skills in creating and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Proficiency with electrical design software and tools (such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN).
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (such as UL, NEC).
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
