MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wheeled vehicles and trailers equipment. Diagnose and repair vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately. Repair brake and steering systems. Replace or repair engines, transmissions and fuel components as needed. Repair cooling components and systems including air conditioners and engine cooling. Perform emissions inspections, safety checks and similar state-regulated vehicle examinations. Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g., leaks)Maintain a clean, safe working environment. Produce legible and accurate paperwork reflecting work performed. Performs other duties that may be assigned to meet company and departmental goals and objectives. Job duties and responsibilities may change due to contractual requirements.
