Job Summary:
* Serve as a multi-functional member of the patient care team under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)
* Support the RN staff through regularly organizing and facilitating two or more functional roles of the patient care plan of which may include the following: Nurse Technician, Unit Secretary, EKG Technician, and Monitor Technician
* Accurately and promptly communicate with the nursing staff, patient, family, and patient care team as required

Qualifications
Minimum Education
* High school diploma or equivalent X Required
Minimum Work Experience
* Three or more years of patient care experience, preferably in a hospital setting
Licensure and Certifications
* Must be licensed in the state of Georgia as a C.N.A., Medical Assistant, or be currently enrolled in an accredited school of nursing with successful completion of "Fundamentals of Nursing" or EMT certification
* Basic Life Support required
* Certified EKG or ECG Technician (CET) preferred
Required Skills
* Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
* Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
