Please Note: This is a temporary position expected to work until the end of December 2026. This is a Hybrid position reporting to the Columbus, GA office Tues-Thurs.

Job Summary:

The Migration Specialist within Togetherwork's Higher Education business vertical plays a key role in ensuring our customers experience a smooth transition from one platform to another. In this role, youll manage the migration process from start to finish, focusing on accurate data transfers, minimizing disruptions, and addressing customer concerns along the way. This position requires a blend of technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, and strong communication to help clients feel confident and supported during the migration.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Customer Migration Support
  2. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the migration process, providing clear communication and updates.
  3. Maintain a thorough understanding of national and chapter-level requirements for assigned organizations.
  4. Adhere to best practices, processes, and standards for data migration to ensure quality and compliance.
  5. Complete detailed account reviews to prepare and strategize for successful migrations.
  6. Schedule migrations and proactively identify and resolve any data errors or corruption points.
  7. Coordinate and execute the end-to-end migration process.
  8. Manage assigned risks and monitor potential impacts to ensure timely and successful migrations.
  9. Test migrated data and systems to identify errors or inconsistencies, addressing issues promptly.
  10. Identify potential risks in the migration process and recommend strategies to mitigate them.
  11. Troubleshoot technical issues during migrations, escalating complex problems to appropriate teams as needed.
