ABOUT THE ROLE
The Cargo Terminal Operator plays a key role in safely managing the equipment used for loading and unloading rail cars, boats, and trucks, ensuring accurate processing and quick turnaround times.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Foster a culture of development, motivation, and empowerment among team members.
• Communicate effectively with Terminal Managers, customers, sales personnel, trucking companies, and suppliers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of grounds, offices, warehouses, and yards.
• Execute loading and unloading tasks for both bulk and bagged materials across various transportation methods.
• Operate and perform routine maintenance on mobile equipment and assist with general machinery upkeep.
• Commit to a culture of safety by adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required Education: High School diploma/GED

Required Work Experience: 1-3 years

Required Computer and Software Skills: Basic computer knowledge, proficiency in Microsoft programs, and familiarity with SAP preferred.

Additional Requirements:

• High mechanical aptitude and competence.
• Mechanical background and welding skills are advantageous.
• Experience in the cement industry and knowledge of integrated computer systems are assets.
• Must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize-approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including respirators. Employees required to wear respirators must be clean-shaven for effective fit testing.
