About The Position

Ensemble Schools is seeking a creative and professional General Manager to help administer our music school in Atlanta, GA. The General Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for our students, families, and teachers to ensure the smooth functioning of our day-to-day operations. The desired hours for this position are 10am-6pm with special attention and flexibility towards after school hours, when the studio will be busiest.

Primary responsibilities

  • Providing leadership to ensure the overall success of the school
  • Overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Responding to phone calls and emails from students and families regarding enrollment, scheduling, and other requests for information
  • Hiring, scheduling, and interfacing with teachers to help them manage their student schedules
  • Helping to manage our website, newsletters, and social media presence to represent the school to our local community
  • Assisting payroll team in verifying attendance and approving time-off requests
  • Helping to organize and execute student performance opportunities and other community events
  • Assuring all facilities are properly stocked and teachers are fully supported with any necessary equipment/materials
  • General administrative tasks as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a manager or similar leadership role
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Background in music or related fields (not mandatory, but a plus)

The successful candidate will be an organized, motivated self-starter with a strong customer service mindset. A demonstrated interest in Music and Music Education would be an asset. Job Type: Full-time
Pay Range: $48,000-52,000 per year with 5% profit sharing
