Do you have executive leadership in the MA Commercial Lines Insurance space? We are seeking an executive with proven ability for transformation and growth to lead our MA Commercial Lines Underwriting and Product team.

The AVP Commercial Lines Underwriting is a key member of the Technical Leadership team. This is a highly visible role for our flagship state.

Provide oversight and direction to the Commercial Lines Product and Underwriting teams. Lead the Commercial Lines organization to enable MAPFRE USA to succeed in its mission to grow profitably. Drive excellence in partnering with agents to meet aggressive growth targets. Establish the overall Commercial Lines strategy to develop internal underwriting objectives and processes to maximize profits and minimize losses.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education: Master's Degree or professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, or equivalent related experience preferred

Experience: 9 - 11 years or Bachelor's Degree equivalent plus 11 - 13 years

10+ years Underwriting and / or Product experience in P&C Insurance

Deep knowledge of Commercial Lines and related coverages

Increasing experience in leadership roles at an executive level

Expertise leading, coaching and developing talent

**Position is located in Webster, MA or with a reasonable commute to accommodate a Hybrid schedule. Can also be based in Boston, MA with ability to travel to Webster, MA 2-3 days a week.
