PRIMARY FUNCTION: Provides student administrative process coordination to the principal, teachers, parents and students, ensuring IB requirements are being met.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Educational Level:

Master's Degree in job related field

2. Certification/License:

Must hold or meet criteria to obtain Georgia clear renewable Early Childhood P-5 teacher certification. Master's level certification (T5) preferred

3. Experience:

Must have five years of successful classroom teaching experience

4. Physical Activities:

Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities

5. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Written and oral communication, organization

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

1. Must be familiar with, and able to promote an understanding of the IB Primary Years Programme
2. Ability to effectively communicate and work with teacher teams in the development and review of curriculum documents
3. Ability to develop and implement a plan for weekly staff development pertaining to the overall school program and direct staff to appropriate offerings from IB International.
4. This position communicates and works with IB International as the school liaison, ensuring IB requirements are being met
5. Oversees documentation of Georgia Charter Schools
6. Communicates with the GA Charter School Commission on required documentation
7. Works with administration on other projects as assigned.
