1. Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.

2. Must have valid state driver's license with no prior convictions/violations.

3. Must pass all state school bus training requirements and be eligible for certification.

4. Successfully completes and passes medical examination conducted by contracted Board physician. Medical examination will include eyesight, hearing, cardiovascular system, manual dexterity, reflexes, and urinalysis, as well as condition of overall general health.

5. Must be insurable under the liability/comprehensive insurance carrier of the Board. Must remain insurable throughout employment tenure.

6. Must maintain a personal and job related driving record that meets the insurance carrier's criteria for liability coverage for the Phenix City Board of Education.

7. Demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude to include knowledge of automobile/diesel repairs, tools and
