OBJECTIVE :

The Park Manager is responsible for supervising the park employees' performance in their daily activities. They serve as the primary contact between guests and Kids Empire, ensuring guest satisfaction, resolving complaints, and addressing questions or comments from guests or employees while at Kids Empire. The Park Manager ensures guests have a safe and enjoyable experience and interacts with families and children of all ages.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

  • Attend to guests promptly, greet them, and create a welcoming environment in the park.
  • Perform job duties satisfactorily and meet production goals.
  • Create weekly schedules and audit schedules, attendance, and timeclocks.
  • Hire qualified employees for available park positions.
  • Handle, manage, and document statements, terminations, resignations, and job abandonment cases.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and park assessments for staff and the park.
  • Train team members on their key responsibilities.
  • Open and close the park using keys or a code.
  • Communicate guest or employee issues promptly.
  • Manage check-in processes, including liability waivers and guest information collection via iPad.
  • Operate the front cash counter, handle transactions accurately, and manage cash flow.
  • Organize and replenish snack inventory, including drinks, snacks, chips, and ice cream.
  • Manage birthday party bookings and ensure customer satisfaction during events.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors for supplies, orders, or requests.
  • Work closely with corporate teams and communicate through proper channels.
  • Monitor snack inventory levels and reorder as needed.
  • Regularly walk the floor to ensure safety and adherence to rules and regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of restrooms and park structures.
  • Schedule and coordinate family events and assist in their operation.
  • Participate in weekly meetings with development teams.
  • Ensure correct quantities of supplies and products are available.
  • Communicate with suppliers and third parties.
  • Set up and manage time and attendance systems.
  • Audit Amazon accounts across all KE parks nationally.
  • Assist with operational chats and other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

  • Stand, walk, bend, and twist frequently.
  • Perform bilateral hand movements and maintain good finger dexterity.
  • Work in noisy environments with children yelling and music playing.
  • Handle a hectic and busy work environment during peak hours.
  • Work within confined spaces.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work well with children.
  • Operate an iPad proficiently.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Leadership qualities and ability to work independently.
  • Fluent in reading and writing in English.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
