Job Details

This position is responsible formaintaining the Right of Ways for the Urban Forestry & Beautification Division. Remove dirt and debris from roads. Carries tools, mixes concrete, sweeps street gutters; shovels gravel, snow, dirt, sand, rakes leaves, and cuts brush. Picks up litter and debris from right of way; cleans upspills by placing sand on them; removes trash and litter from curbs andgutters; rakes leaves and uses blowers; cuts grass. Directs traffic around the work site during road repairs, and spreadsseeds, fertilizers, and mulch during landscaping. Loads and unloads trucks with proper materials. Maintains landscaping, mowing, planting, and seeding. Deliversconcessions, chemicals, and miscellaneous equipment. Maintains inventory of supplies and equipment. Picks up garbage and debris asassigned. Cleans truck and other equipment. Applies fertilizer; plants grass and shrubbery. Assists in the cleaning and maintenance of the fleet yard.
