Light carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance work to ensure safe, functional, and compliant operations. The technician may also support environmental and fire safety systems, equipment installation, and emergency repairs as needed. Essential Functions. Installs, tests, maintains, and repairs facility machinery, equipment, and systems. Performs utility, structural, and surface repairs, including drywall, painting, doors, flooring, and cabinetry. Conducts preventive maintenance on HVAC, secondary air systems, and plumbing infrastructure. Assists with fire safety compliance, including inspections of risers, extinguishers, and alarms. Cleans and clears sewer and drainage systems using mechanical tools as needed. Operates equipment such as dump trucks, snowplows, farm tractors, and ladders safely. Maintains logs, completes documentation, and tracks materials for audits and reporting. Moves furniture, equipment, and materials across departments or storage.
