We are seeking a highly motivated Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our automotive manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of production associates to ensure efficient workflow, quality output, and compliance with safety standards. This role plays a key part in meeting production targets and maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of production workers on the manufacturing floor.
  • Ensure production goals are met in terms of output, quality, cost, and safety.
  • Monitor workflow, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality control, and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, quality, logistics, and engineering teams to resolve production issues.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate production team members.
  • Prepare shift reports, maintain records, and track production metrics.
  • Lead or support root cause analysis and corrective action for quality or production issues.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with labor agreements if applicable.

Requirements:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related field ().
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, lean manufacturing, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or rotating shifts as needed.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, production tracking software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Working knowledge of ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949, or similar quality standards is a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Fast-paced automotive production environment.
  • Exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures.
  • Standing, walking, and lifting may be required for extended periods.
