Warehouse AssociateTransport Driver

GA, Columbus

Job Overview:

At Five Star Food Service, we are seeking reliable and experienced individuals to join our team as Transport Drivers/Warehouse Associates. Transport Drivers/Warehouse Associates will be responsible for picking, packing, and delivering food and beverage orders to our Columbus, GA and Dothan, AL branch locations. Transport Drivers/Warehouse Associates will handle order fulfillment, product loading, and organization within our warehouse.

Requirements:

* Must be able to lift 50lbs+; on a repetitive basis and have the ability to reach, bend, stoop on a frequent basis.

* Route Drivers are required to be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license.

* Must be able to pass drug screen

* Must be able to pass a background check

* Must be able to pass DOT Physical

* Pass a MVR Check

* Ability to drive a company box truck vehicle over an established route.

* Preferred experience in Route Driving

Key Responsibilities:

* Transport Drivers/Warehouse Associates:

* Pick, pack, load, and deliver food and beverage items to three different branch locations.

* Safely operate a 26 ft. box truck for deliveries to Albany , GA from Columbus, GA

* Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to safety protocols for company-owned vehicles.

* Keep accurate inventory records.

* Receive work orders, pull drink products, and place them in designated tubs for delivery routes.

* Count and load tubs onto delivery trucks, ensuring proper rotation based on freshness dates.

* Keep a clean and organized work area and maintain a fast-paced workflow.

Position Information:

* Status: Full-Time

* Hourly Pay Rate: $18.50/hr
