Job Details

This position performs manual work in the custodial care of Fortson 4-H Center buildings and facilities. This includes cleaning and caring for building areas. Buildings include venues, cabins, and other units located on the Center. The primary responsibility is for the effective use of proper methods and materials in cleaning and building setups. The individual works without close supervision and follows well established routines and procedures. The person in this role participates as a member of the Fortson 4-H Center Staff. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies Ability to work independently. Ability to clean, sanitizes, and do extensive housekeeping task. Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse client base; young children to adults. Ability to provide food service for large groups of people. Ability to work long hours, on feet in a hot commercial kitchen. Ability to move 20 pounds at a time. Ability to effectively market and promote programs.
