When you join our team as an Assistant Store Manager, you'll take on key store management responsibilities including supervising daily store activities, ensuring overall store performance, managing schedules, and developing operational plans while identifying training opportunities to develop the team.

Position Details

  • Type: Full-Time
  • Hours: 38 hours/week
  • Starting Wage: $24.00/hour
  • Wage Increase: Year 2 - $25.00/hour

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and implementing action plans to improve results
  • Communicate responsibilities and performance expectations
  • Identify training and development opportunities
  • Model and communicate company values to foster teamwork
  • Monitor community environment and recommend adjustments
  • Provide product feedback and make recommendations
  • Participate in interviewing store personnel
  • Communicate weekly updates, milestones, and concerns
  • Ensure adherence to inventory, product handling, and cash policies
  • Resolve operational customer concerns in absence of direct leader
  • Identify and rectify hazards, maintain store equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and signage standards
  • Assist in stock level management and merchandising
  • Ensure product quality and signage accuracy
  • Support payroll, inventory, and training efforts
  • Supervise daily team operations and escalate issues
  • Ensure customer service standards are met
  • Uphold company policies and data security
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands

  • Stock merchandise, lift up to 45 pounds, perform store tasks
  • Sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, walk as needed

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • At least 3 years retail experience
  • Management experience preferred
