As a Senior Data Analyst, you will lead projects to improve data analysis and reporting for the Endoscopy Division by developing high-quality dashboards and collaborating with business stakeholders and the Business Intelligence team. You will create and maintain automated, accurate data sets, through PowerBI dashboards, to support internal customers, while responding to business requests and driving a data-driven culture. Additionally, you will identify new opportunities, propose reporting solutions, evaluate software platforms, and provide training to empower self-service analytics across the organization.
What you will do
Develop, oversee, and maintain PowerBI reporting dashboards, data collection tools, and training content.
Support the process of developing data models to be utilized by the commercial business.
Support the implementation, organization, and administration of various Power BI workspaces.
Support the data model refresh schedules for various reporting dashboards to ensure the business has refreshed and accurate data.
Support process to evaluate financial impacts for existing projects and new opportunities.
Identify and communicate expectations on timing and scope of project work with stakeholders and support key commercial initiatives.
Support/lead discussions with data analysts, data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities where data analytics concepts can be applied to real-world business opportunities.
Translate stakeholder requirements to potential data analytics solutions.
Support the investigation and implementation of new data analytics capabilities to support the needs of the business.
Create tools to evaluate dashboard usage to help identify and drive future enhancements.
Apply fundamental and advanced concepts, practices, and procedures for problem solving.
What you need
Required:
Bachelor's degree, or 6+ years of applicable data analytics work experience required in lieu of degree.
2+ years of work experience related to data analytics.
Experience with interpreting & communicating analytical content.
Proficient in business intelligence and analytics platforms (e.g. Power BI, Tableau).
Proficient in programming languages and data structures.
Proficient in at least one programming language central to data analytics (e.g. DAX, M, SQL, Python, R).
Proficient in data transformation and cleansing and relational database and data modeling concepts.
Proficient in data governance concepts including the need for documented definitions, calculations, sources, lineage, etc.
Preferred:
Master's degree.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
Applied experience with project management tools & framework (e.g. scrum and agile frameworks).
$85,500 - $182,200 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
