The Director of the Department of Early Childhood and Family Services is a member of the Executive Leadership Team and is tasked with planning, directing, and overseeing the operations and comprehensive services of the Head Start Program. The Director is required to manage systems to ensure the effective, efficient, and timely delivery of high-quality services to 1,317 children and their families, in a eleven county service area (seventeen (17) centers). This role involves setting program goals and developing policies and procedures that align with federal, state, and local requirements and foster continuous quality improvement. The Director will also collaborate with the CEO and members of the Executive Leadership Team to ensure the continued success of Enrichment Services Program, Inc., a Community Action Agency.

Incumbent is regularly required to walk, sit, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. Occasionally required to stand, climb, balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Regularly lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to twenty five (25) pounds.
