Job Details

This position will operate a WA500 and CAT 980 to pull stockpiles, push in for feeders, and clean up around the Primary and Finish Plants.

$1 shift differential

Monthly Production Bonus

What You Will Do:

* Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Immediately report all unsafe conditions and behaviors to Management and/or Safety Manager.

* Maintain a clean and orderly work area and meet other housekeeping needs as required by the Company, MSHA and other regulatory agency requirements.

* Operate a Yard Loader and other heavy equipment to lift and transport finished material to and from stockpiles, maintain level floor, and maintain safe loadout face.

* Maintain daily cleanliness of heavy equipment being operated.

* Perform daily written pre-shift inspection on the equipment being used immediately notify management of any unsafe conditions.

* Coordinate with management on inventories and demand.

* Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve department and company goals.

* Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills:

What You Need:

* Previous experience operating a Pit Loader, Excavator, other heavy equipment in a quarry/mining or construction industry preferred.

* Knowledge of general principles and practices of operating and servicing heavy mining/construction equipment.

* Willing to work overtime and extended hours/weekends, depending on company need.

* Must be able to work in all kinds of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
