* Performs janitorial duties which includes cleaning rest rooms, kitchen areas, vacuums carpets, scrubs and waxes floors, dusts, washes windows and performs other miscellaneous janitorial duties associated with maintaining clean buildings and facilities.
* Empties trash containers, sweeps parking lots and exterior walkways.
* Maintains inventory of all tools and supplies required to perform the duties of the position. Washes dishes, pots, and pans. Move boxes, furniture, and other miscellaneous items from one place to another.
* Changes light bulbs.
* Carries out a continuous effort to improve operations, work processes; and works cooperatively and jointly to provide continuous improvement and customer-driven service.
* Performs other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment and compounds, and their proper uses.
Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of specialized training in the occupational field, in addition to basic skills typically associated with a high school education. Experience sufficient to thoroughly understand the work of subordinate positions and to be able to answer questions and resolve problems, usually associated with one to three years experience or service.
The work is typically performed while intermittently sitting, standing, bending, crouching, or stooping. The employee frequently lifts light and heavy objects, uses tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity, and must be able to distinguish between shades of color. Additionally, the following physical abilities are required:

* Pulling - use upper extremities to exert force, haul or tug.
* Pushing - use upper extremities to press against objects with force, or thrust forward, downward, outward.
