Columbus GA has Materials Team Members supporting the Materials Managers for critical part flow through operations to support customer deliveries. Key functions of this role include, but are not limited to: Milk runs, maintaining heats, thru put and delivery needs. Part of lean/ CORE environment, working to streamline flow between operations. Ability to work with materials, operations, and quality teams . st shift Monday Friday 7:00 am 3:30 pm. Key Responsibilities:Perform diversified, technical duties of a complex nature in coordinating the activities of material management groups associated with a major program; or analytical duties to resolve complex and diversified problems related to materials management functions. Provide technical direction to material management groups in their analysis of data related to lead times, scheduling, inventory, and procurement of parts and materials.
