**Primary Location:** 5356 GA-85 , Forest Park , GA , US **Airport Driver Lead**

The Single Copy Airport Driver is a part-time driver position coordiate with the Single Copy distributor all airport distribution and operational functions. In this position, the Airport Driver will assign daily concourse duties, Upload draw data to Syncronex Handhelds, breakdown each publication by Concourse, verify incoming product, coordinate nightly loading of product on the airport truck, drop off product and assist with delivery or customer issues while product is being delivered. Assist with inputting returns and adjustments in the system.

**PRIMARY TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES:**

Supports Single Copy Distributions activities

* Sync and Upload handheld device.

* Breakdown each publication draws by Concourse

* Truck time verification of incoming product and make any needed draw/delivery adjustments

* Coordinate Product Inserting and ensure that Amenity Publications are properly prepped for Special Delivery locations.

* Coordinate the product loading of airport truck(s)

* Within the Airport environment drop off carts and newspapers to each concourse

* Deliver to special location such as Gate Gourment and Delta Jet Base

* Assist with deliveries to larger Concourses when short staff

Product verification activities

* Assist with routine vehicle maintenance and scheduling

* Communicate and correct draw and returns issues or variances

* Assist in resolving customer issues and complaints.

* Assist in achieving company goals and metrics.

* Maintain positive relationships with Airport Security, Merchants, Warehouse Coordinators, and Independent Contractors.

* Report to AJC Management any Employee or Retail issues or concerns

* Support and Promote good Safety Practices

* Conduct a daily vehicle inspection and report any issues

**SECONDARY TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES:**

* Other Duties as Assigned

* Review Weekly Schedules for Accuracy (Schedule Prepared by Distribution Manager)

* Coordinate Daily Concourse Assignments

* Monitor and Review Concourse training

* Other Duties as Assigned

**Qualifications:**

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

* Must be able to pass Federal Background check

* Annual Airport SIDA and Drivers Badge Testing is required.

* High school diploma or GED required, College or Technical School Preferred.

* Excellent Driving History

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, COMPETENCIES:

* Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Excellent driving record, and the ability to drive small trucks or vans within an airport environment

* Previous circulation experience coordinating distribution activities

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook

* 0-1 years of warehouse/product supply distribution experience (i.e., product set up and assembly, inventory control, general warehouse/work environment cleanliness etc.)

* Previous experience with inventory control

* Knowledge and use of pallet jack or other material set up equipment

* Knowledge of geographical areas and ability to travel locally within the Greater Atlanta area

* Strong safety orientation to ensure physical safety of self and others in warehouse/distribution environment

INTERFACE REQUIREMENTS:

* Interface with Warehouse Coordinators, SC and HD Independent Contractors, Airport retailers, Field Service Representative and Distribution Manager.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

* Hartsfield Airport Primarily Airport Tarmac Area.

* Warehouse environment

* Reports to Distribution Manager
