In this role you will assemble components required for custom material handling systems while working in a shop environment. You will be required to follow blueprint specifications, operate hand and power tools and various lifting equipment.

**Responsibilities:**

* Review job specifications and pull necessary parts for assembly.

* Verify materials and set up assembly process.

* Assemble parts to blueprint specs using hand, power, pneumatic and hydraulic tools.

* Inspect final product and transport to shipping department.

* Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and safe manner.

* Not allowed to lift more than 50 lbs without assistance

* Work in other areas or departments as assigned.

**Education:**

* High school diploma or GED preferred

**Essential Skills:**

* Requires average math skills, simple oral communication skills; ability to read and comprehend instructions written in English and complete simple logs and reports in English

* Must be able to read tape measure down to 1/16th

* Must have background in assembly or installation and have good mechanical aptitude.

* Experience reading blueprints

* Must be physically able to handle heavy items including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning products

* Must be able to work scheduled hours and comply with the companys timekeeping policy and all other company policies

* Must be able to consistently stand for entire shift

* Ability to work in a team setting
