**Description**

* Coordinates parts orders, timely receipts, and staging with other Maintenance and Engineering personnel to ensure needed parts are available for scheduled work.

* Uses Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to order, receive, track and report on inventory

* Prepares and analyzes usage reports then recommends parts inventory stock levels, including minimums and maximums, that will ensure business continuity.

* Source and procure needed parts that are cost effective and meet timeline requirements through existing and new vendors, internet, fabrication companies, and other sources as needed.

* Creates purchase requisitions and develops parts orders according to company procedures

* Maintains equipment manuals and receives new manuals in an orderly manner, notifying appropriate personnel.

* Coordinates all paperwork associated with purchasing and receiving parts inventory, including accounts payable documentation.

* Coordinates with Engineering and Maintenance on new equipment spare part requirements.

* Recommends and implements optimization strategies for parts purchasing and inventory controls.

* Manage spare parts storage, ensuring accurate inventories are kept and 5S is maintained.

* Adheres to Company purchasing card program and policies, reconciling credit card charges and purchases in a timely manner.

* Assist with Production purchasing as needed.

* Coordinates and advises on Daily & Weekend Maintenance Planning work schedules.

* May manage other initiatives such as scrap metal recycling inventory and disposal, and environmental waste streams for disposal that require adherence to Federal, State and Local regulations.

* May participate in Maintenance Breakdown Analysis (BDA) Teams to address root causes of equipment or parts failures, including sourcing upgraded parts to eliminate breakdowns.

* Ensure parts are prepared and available for planned maintenance activities.

* Provide vendor support through inventory, invoice management, and program coordination (Cintas, PALS, Aramark, etc.)

* Ordering of all supplies for each department, assignment of vendors & lockers, boot and safety glass reimbursements, first aid kit ordering, collection and monitoring of CILs, centerline deviations, and master sanitation checklists.

* May handle dispositions, schedule receiving appointments with carriers, track defect find/fix.

* Shift and daily document review and verification (Quality)

* Enter DMLs (Defective Material Log) to log issues with the quality of ingredients or supplies from vendors. The entry requires an investigation from the time of order entry and receipt of the item through the point of failure.

**Education and/or Experience:**

* High School graduate or equivalent experience.

* 1 year administrative and inventory experience preferred.

* Knowledge of maintenance or mechanical/electrical parts.

Knowledge of parts and Computerized Maintenance Management System preferred
