Spherion Staffing of Columbus, GA is now hiring warehouse workers for a local and reputable company. We currently have 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts warehouse positions available in production, assembly, shipping/receiving and material handlers. In this warehouse worker position you have the opportunity to work weekends and overtime. Perks and Benefits: Pay range 12.00 to 13.00 depending on experience and position Temp to hire position depending on work performance within 90 days immediate benefits with Spherion once placed; many clients offer great benefits

Responsibilities:
Shipping and receiving - Receive and check all incoming products, cycle count Material Handler -Pull orders using headset, pack and stage while using an electric pallet jack Assembly - Assists in final assembly of product ensuring it meets quality standards Production - Loading and unloading parts on an production line

Working hours: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Various Shifts Available)

Skills:
6 months prior warehouse experience Computer skills Forklift experience welding experience a plus

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Dedicated transportation - bus route not accessible excellent communication skills Headset or scanner experience Ability to lift overhead and stand up to 8 to 10 hours a day Experience with an electric pallet jack Ability to be able to work weekends and overtime
